I found a PlaceMakers pamphlet in our house called “Securing your home.”

On page one you can find a checklist of Preventive Products for Home Security. (Door Locks, Spot Lights, Padlocks, just to name a few.) Also on page one the question: What is security? is answered. Interesting reading! The pamphlet has eleven pages.

Have you ever read what it says in Psalm 127:1? Read it!

Of course we are all concerned about the security of our homes. But the security of our souls is of more importance than the security of our homes. In Hebrews 6:19,20 it says this:

“WE HAVE THIS HOPE AS AN ANCHOR FOR THE SOUL, FIRM AND SECURE . IT ENTERS THE INNER SANCTUARY BEHIND THE CURTAIN, WHERE JESUS, WHO WENT BEFORE US, HAS ENTERED ON OUR BEHALF. HE HAS BECOME A HIGH PRIEST FOREVER, IN THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK.”

(Proverbs 14:26)

HOW DO I KNOW THAT I AM ETERNALLY SECURE?

1. I have been regenerated by the Word and Spirit of God.

2. I have received a new life and a new nature.

3. I have been made a partaker of  the divine nature.

4. I have been justified from every charge before the throne of God.
