“Make your best business decision. Ever.” That’s what The University of Auckland Business School advertisement says. Four courses are advertised and people are encouraged to apply. There are also images. One is of a present student and one of a former student. The students writing briefly how beneficial the studies are.

I want to urge you to make your best life decision. Ever. Why? Because your best life decision affects your business decision and all your other decisions.

The best decision you can ever make is to follow the Lord Jesus Christ! Are you familiar with the hymn “I have decided to follow Jesus?”  The hymn has four verses and here is the first verse:

“I have decided to follow Jesus,

I have decided to follow Jesus,

I have decided to follow Jesus;

No turning back.”

I* have decided to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. I was eighteen years of age when I made the decision. That was more than 50 years ago. Praise the name of the Lord for his guidance.

For a good number of years I was a missionary with WEC INTERNATIONAL in Thailand. There is the saying “Join WEC INTERNATIONAL and you see the world” among the WEC missionaries. That’s what happened to me.

Praise the Lord also for all the others all over the world who are following the Lord Jesus Christ!
