“Failure to comply with playground safety rules may result in eviction from the play area.” That is rule number six of the “Playground Safety Rules”.
When I looked at the six “Playground Safety Rules” at Lynn Mall in Auckland, New Zealand, I was reminded of the World Safety Rules.
I hope there are not very many people who have not heard of the Ten World Safety Rules. We find the Ten World Safety Rules in “The Book of Books”.
Another word for them is DECALOGUE. What are the Ten World Safety Rules? The answer is:
“A comprehensive formulation of the basic laws that govern man’ s relation to God and his fellow men.” – 20th Century Bible Dictionary
And here are the ten laws: (Deuteronomy 5:6-21)
1. “You shall have no other gods before me.” – Deut. 5:7
2. “You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.” – Deut. 5:8
3. “You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.” – Deut. 5:11
4. “Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the LORD your God has commanded you.” – Deut. 5:12
5. “Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you.” – Deut. 5:16
6. “You shall not murder.” – Deut. 5:17
7. “You shall not commit adultery.” – Deut. 5:18
8. “You shall not steal.” – Deut. 5:19
9. “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbour.” – Deut. 5:20
10. “You shall not covet your neighbour’s wife. You shall not set your desire on your neighbour’s house or land, his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbour.” – Deut. 5:21
I woud like to see the Ten Commandments on TV every hour for a certain time supported by prayer. But such a campaign costs lots of money.
