KAITAIA IN THE NORTH OF NEW ZEALAND

Kaitaia in the north of New Zealand has a new library. (TE AHU CENTRE)

I love books. But most of all I love reading the BIBLE, The Word of the Living God.

“ESCAPE, EXPLORE, DISCOVER,” I am reading on a bookmarker I picked up today at the library.

I used to teach the BIBLE in many schools in the north of New Zealand and I told the children that the BIBLE is a library of 66 books. I told them also that the BIBLE is divided into  two main section, namely the Old Testament containing 39 books and the New Testament containing 27 books.

What is the cardinal theme of the Bible? The cardinal theme of the BIBLE is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ is also the key to understand the Scriptures.

Originally the Old Testament was written in Hebrew. (Parts of Daniel and Ezra being written in Aramaic) Originally the New Testament was written in Greek.

The author of the BIBLE is GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT.

In order to understand the BIBLE we must know God the Holy Spirit. We must have a personal relationship with God.

Let us “escape” with the BIBLE to a quiet place and “explore” the Bible with the help of God the Holy Spirit and “discover” new things in the BIBLE daily.
