“Surround yourself with Winners”
“Surround yourself with winners” is strategy six in the book SEVEN STRATEGIES FOR WEALTH AND HAPPINESS by Jim Rohn called. I have just read strategy six. ( The principle of Association)
I really like that. I really like to be together with people I can learn from. And to do that is not all that difficult today. There are books, books and more books and there is the Internet.
I enjoy reading the book called MORNING AND EVENING (Daily Readings) by Charles Haddon Spurgeon.
This morning I read there what C.H. Spurgeon says about the promises of God. And I think he has taught me something or at least I find confirmed what I have always believed, namely that all the promises in the BIBLE are for all the saints and I am a saint. All true followers of the Lord Jesus Christ are saints!

INFORMATION
In his book THE ROAD AHEAD Bill Gates writes in chapter two about “THE BEGINNING OF THE INFORMATION AGE”. I must read that chapter again.
Information, the right information, is very important!
In a purely WORLDLY MATTER I was eager to do the right thing. Where do you go, if you don’t know what the right thing is? You ask the people who know. That’s what I did. I did not only believe the received information but I acted on it as well for about seven years. But not long ago I found out that the information I believed and acted on was not correct. ( I almost died with the wrong information!)
But we don’t only have to deal with WORLDLY MATTERS but we have also to deal with SPIRITUAL MATTERS.
Where do you get your information when it comes to SPIRITUAL MATTERS?
Let me tell you where I found the correct information. The correct information is in the BIBLE, the Word of God. Listen to what the Bible says in
Jeremiah 29:12, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
And in
John 17:3 we read, “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”
If we die with the wrong information when it comes to WORLDLY MATTERS it is bad enough, but if we die with the wrong information when it comes to SPIRITUAL MATTERS there are ETERNAL CONSEQUENCES!
PLEASE DON’T DIE WITH THE WRONG INFORMATION WHEN IT COMES TO SPIRITUAL MATTERS!

TEACH THEM THE BIBLE!
THIS IS WHAT THE PSALMIST SAYS:

Nikolaus Ludwig Graf von Zinzendorf gave us about 2000 hymns and this is what he says in one hymn about the BIBLE.
He calls the BIBLE a precious gift, a treasure. He says we cannot compare the BIBLE with anything we possess. Nothing matters really to him except the BIBLE!
