Do you know that your sins are forgiven?

2.  I write to you, fathers,

because you have known him who is from the beginning.

Do you know him who is from the beginning?

3.   I write to you, young men,

because you have overcome the evil one.

Have you overcome the evil one?

CHAPTER TWO

1.  I write to you, dear children,

because you have known the Father.

Do you know the Father?

2.  I write to you, fathers,

because you have known him who is from the beginning.

a.  because you are strong, and

b.  the word of God lives in you, and

Does the word of God live in you?
