I love wall to wall carpets, that have a colour, where you can see dirty marks easily. ( We have a carpet like that! )

Dirty wheels of baby walkers and walkers to support older people make also great stains on light coloured carpets.

And I also don’t want to forget to mention leaking water heaters near fixed carpets. They soak the carpets really good, as you can well imagine.

We experienced that only a couple of days ago. We still don’t have hot water. I am going to a place for backpackers to have a shower.

I am seriously asking myself, “Why do we have carpets at all?
