Not long ago parliament  voted 77-44 to legalise same-sex marriage here in New Zealand.

Mother’s Day is on Sunday 12th May this year. In the US and in Canada Mother’s Day is observed as a day in honor of mothers. (In Australia and here in New Zealand mothers traditionally receive gifts from their kids.)

MOTHER’S DAY

In the Bible we are also reading about honoring  mothers. In the second book of the Bible, in Exodus, we are finding the Ten Commandments in chapter twenty. And in Exodus 20:12 it says this in THE AMPLIFIED BIBLE:

“REGARD (TREAT WITH HONOR, DUE OBEDIENCE AND COURTESY) YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER, THAT YOUR DAYS MAY BE LONG IN THE LAND THE LORD YOUR GOD GIVES YOU.”

A Christian home consists of a God-honoring Father, God-honoring Mother and God-honoring children.

The FAMILY is a gift of God.

A nation which honors the Family will live long in the land. A nation which keeps the family holy has continued existence.

A nation which destroys the family will not live long in the land. A nation which does not keep the family holy is doomed.

The FAMILY – a gift of God. No wonder, the devil is all out to destroy it!
