John 10:27-30

Intr.:

Listen to the voice of the Lord and follow him.

A. They cannot be snatched out of the hand of the Lord.

 B. They cannot be snatched out of the hand of the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.

End:

The Lord Jesus Christ and the Father are one.

What and Who do you see?

A long time ago I remember the dutch Evangelist Wim Malgo saying something like this, “We are not optimists, and we are not pessimists. We are believers.”

This morning, while walking on the main street here in Kaitaia, I saw a blackboard in front of a hairdresser establishment and this was written on it,

“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity. An optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.”

In the book of Hebrews in the Bible in chapter eleven we read about the faith of many people. It says there about Moses,

“By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.

I am also a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and I see the Lord!

‘Blessed is the mother who

1.  gave you birth and

2.  nursed you.’

B.  He replied,

‘Blessed rather are those  who

1.  hear the word of God and

2.  obey it.'”
