The Pharisees are asking.
Q. : “‘Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?'”
A.: “‘Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.'”
Second question and answer:
The Sadducees are asking.
Q.: “‘Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?'”
A. : “‘At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.'”
Third questions and answer:
The Pharisees are asking.
Q.: “‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?'”
A.: “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
An the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”
Jesus is asking the Pharisees:
Q.: “What think ye of Christ? whose so is he?”
A.: “The Son of David.”
Q. : “He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?”
“No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions.”
