Someone said, “If we don’t stand for something we’ll fall for anything!”

I stand for the TRUTH, (the Lord Jesus Christ is the truth – John 14:6) and my “Power to Go!” comes from three things.

They are:

POWER TO GO!

1. I read “THE BOOK OF BOOKS.”

Another name for “the book of books” is the Scriptures.

Long ago I found the words “in quietness … is your strength” (Isaiah 30:15) in the Scriptures.

I am doing that more and more, being quiet. And do you know what? It works!

2. My soul talks to God.

And this is my experience. The Lord Jesus Christ gives us the desires of our heart and he gives us more than we ask.

Long ago I had it on my mind to plant a palm tree. And do you know what? The place where we are living now has many palm trees. They were already there, when we came here.

3. I tell others what the Lord Jesus Christ has done for me.

I live in Kaitaia, in the Far North of New Zealand, not far from Cape Reinga. Many German tourists are coming to Kaitaia on their way to Cape Reinga.

In the local paper I am reading lately quite a bit that tourists from Germany flip their cars and drive them into ditches.

When I meet Germans, and lately I meet quite a lot, I tell them about the Lord Jesus Christ, to drive careful on the road, and to park their vehicle at a safe place for the night.

The most important thing is of course to tell them what the Lord Jesus Christ has done for me. I feel bad, if I don’t do it.

True followers of the Lord Jesus Christ who read the Bible, are full of the joy of the Lord. True followers of the Lord who pray, are full of the joy of the Lord. But the followers of the Lord who witness for the Lord Jesus Christ are really full of the joy of the Lord.
