What a challenge for Mum and Dad to stay together.
Today it is Mum and the children or Dad and the children or the Caregiver and the children.
HOW CAN PARENTS STAY TOGETHER?
In his letter to the Corinthians the apostle Paul says, “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers.” And in the same chapter he asks this question, “What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?”
WHAT ARE BELIEVERS?
1. Believers are saved from condemnation (Romans 8:1).
2. Believers are accepted in the Beloved (Ephesians 1:6).
3. Believers are qualified to share in the inheritance (Colossians 1:12).
4. Believers are sanctified in Christ (First Corinthians 1:2).
5. Believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13).
6. Believers are possessors of eternal life (First John 5:12).
7. Believers are blessed in Christ with spiritual blessings (Ephesians 1:3.)
Believers are truly rich!
Believers are called “Children, Saints, Christians, Brethren, Sheep, Servants, Friends.”
The question is: If we are believers, are we true to what we are called?
Can you say, “My parents are still living together?”
Can you say, “My parents have been married for 40 years and are still living together?”
Can you say, “My parents have been married for more than 60 years and are still living together?”
