Yesterday in the morning in my reading of the Bible from cover to cover I came to Second Chronicles 7:21,22, where it says:
“‘Why has the LORD done such a thing to this land and to this temple?’
Second Chronicles 7:21,22
Intr.:
People will answer, “Because
1. they have forsaken the LORD, the God of their fathers,
who brought them out of Egypt, and
2. have embraced other gods,
a. worshiping and
b. serving them –
End:
that is why he brought all this disaster on them.'”
When I read the portion of Scripture in the morning, I did not know that I would read it again later on the same day with a torch light.
Today we are reading about the disaster in the paper and hearing about the disaster over the radio.
