What is your father saying to you?

Today I attended a funeral in Kaikohe and it was a blessing to read what a father said to his child:

Seen today in KAIKOHE in front of a shop

1. PRAY EVERYDAY!

2. SEEK TO LEARN!

3. WORK HARD TO DO GOOD!

My father did not come back from World War II and I was to young to remember anything about my father.

I am wondering what he would have said to me?
