SIGNIFICANT NUMBERS IN THE BIBLE

The New Bible Dictionary (Inter-Varsity Fellowship) tells me that the number “two can be a figure both of unity and of division.”

“‘NO ONE CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS.

EITHER HE WILL HATE THE ONE

THE NUMBER TWO IN THE BIBLE

AND LOVE THE OTHER,

OR HE WILL BE DEVOTED TO THE ONE

AND DESPISE THE OTHER.

YOU CANNOT SERVE BOTH GOD AND MONEY.'”
