PRAYING FRIENDS

werner-150x150-e1367980712224“Rich is the person who has a praying friend,” says J. Hugh.

In John 15:14 the Lord Jesus Christ says, “‘You are my friends if you do what I command.'”

When an expert in the law asked the Lord Jesus Christ which the greatest commandment in the law is, the Lord gave the following answer:

“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” – Matthew 22:37,38,39

At the beginning of chapter seventeen in the gospel of John the Lord Jesus Christ prays for himself.

In the verses 6-19 in the same chapter we are told that the Lord is praying for his disciples.

And from verse 20 to the end of chapter seventeen the Lord Jesus Christ prays for all believers.

The richest people are the people who have the Lord Jesus Christ as a praying friend.
