We need food for our body and we need food for our soul.
Looking into our letterbox in front of our dwelling today, I found the Takeaway Menu and the Dine in Dinner Special only Menu of the Amazing Thai Kaitaia Restaurant telling me about their food:
Pad Priew Wan (Sweet & sour vegetables with chicken, pork or beef).
Tom Yam (Popular Thai hot and sour soup with mushroom, lemon grass and coriander).
“Amazing Thai Kaitaia”
Tom Kha.
Pad Thai (Traditional Thai fried rice noodles with chicken, beef or pork).
The dishes remind me of my time in Thailand, when I had the privilege to tell the people in Thailand about the food for our soul:
I worked in Thailand as a missionary from Christmas 1966 until Christmas 1979. Our Missionary Society worked in three provinces in the northwestern part of the country.
I actually like Thai food very much and what an opportunity to go to the restaurant and order a dish of Pad Priew Wan and tell them about the food for our soul in their own language.
In Matthew 4:4 the Lord Jesus Christ says:
“Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
