While putting my books into order (I have just finished doing so), I discovered a real TREASURE on my bookshelf …..
… and I did not even know that it was there. Maybe I find more treasures there.
(Finished reading the book.)
How glad I am that I kept the alphabetical list (sorted according to authors) of my books I made years ago, because it is a great help in guiding me now to put my books in order.
At the present time I am decluttering my room, because I was urged to do so.
I have almost finished putting the books that were scattered all over the “office” back where they belong. Things that needed to be thrown out I have thrown out and I have also given things away. The place looks much better now and I hope to keep it that way.
Thinking about the guidance I received from the alphabetical list, especially the time saved, made me think of the Bible, the guide book to everlasting life.
But in order to be guided by the Bible, we must read it. I am a great believer in reading the Bible like any other book, from cover to cover; that means reading the Bible systematically. God is our Father and He teaches us from His book. Let us be obedient and read the Bible resolutely. Read the Scriptures, another word for Bible, daily, meditatively, prayerfully and lovingly.
I could have done without the alphabetical list of my books, but we cannot do without the Bible, the guide book to everlasting life.

Opposite the Salvation Army building in the middle of KAITAIA two men were preaching the Gospel not long ago.
I have had good talks with the man who was telling the people about the Lord Jesus Christ, when I was passing by.
From the other man I received a booklet called: TO THE YOUNG – WHERE ARE YOU GOING? by J. S. Hales. (Gospel news for eternal salvation)
They were both from the Exclusive Brethren.
