MARIENTHEOLOGIE (MARIOLOGIE):

Lehre von Maria.

COURAGE

werner-150x150-e1367980712224Heroes and Heroines remind us of courage.

What about hard knocks?

A Roman poet who lived 200 BC said, “That’s courage – take hard knocks like a man when occasion calls.” His name was Plautus. (Think about how long ago that was!)

What about defeat?

“The greatest test of courage is to bear defeat without losing heart,” says R. G. Ingersoll.

What is actually courage?

Henry van Dyke tells us what courage is: “True courage is not incompatible with nervousness, and heroismus does not mean the absence of fear, but the conquest of it.”

Do you need encouragement?

Let us hear what the Lord says to Joshua. He does not only say, “‘Be strong and courageous,'” but he says again, “‘Be strong and very courageous.'”

And let us always remember the quote by Sir J. M. Barrie:

“COURAGE IS THE THING. ALL GOES IF COURAGE GOES.”

The Cross

The Cross

“WHENEVER THE ARK …”

Number 10:35,36

Intr.:

I.  “Whenever the ark set out,

Moses said,

‘Rise up, O LORD!

— May your enemies be scattered;

— may your foes flee from before you.’

II. Whenever it came to rest,

he said,

‘Return, O LORD,

— to the countless thousands of Israel.'”

End:

TROUBLE

Yesterday I picked up a book and found the following challenge and encouragement:

“EVERY TROUBLE HAS A WAY OF SEEMING SMALLER IF WE FACE IT BOLDLY.”

Face the trouble boldly with prayer!

WHEN REAL CHANGE COMES

“Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at change,” is a quote by Wayne Dyer

"Change the way ..."

“Change the way …”

That everything looked different the next morning the brother in Christ told us last Sunday in Church. The evening before he had passed from darkness to light, from death to life.

What joy it is to listen to people telling us about the work of God the Holy Spirit in their lives. At the moment I am reading how Catholic Priests came out of darkness into light.

The Holy Spirit creates new life in man. That new life is called the “New Creation”.

Real change comes when the  Lord Jesus Christ enters our life.
