Who is Speaking?

“We say,” and “You say,” I read in one of our local papers.

And yesterday I saw a very interesting poster, which says, “Mums say …”

What do mums say? “Mums say speak up!”

That is obviously a mother on the poster and she says: “Stop my son driving drunk Legend.”

I find the poster interesting, because looking at it the following questions are coming to my mind:

a.  Where is the father of the son? b.  Is it not the duty of the parents to bring up their sons and daughters?

People are saying many things, and we are listening. But are we also listening to what the Lord Jesus Christ says in his word?

He is speaking to us through the Bible.

SIN

That we should not expect too much from a justice system that is seemingly blind to the sins of adults, who produce young offenders, I am reading in one of our local papers, The Northland Age, Tuesday, October 20, 2015. (“Excuses, excuses”)

The BIBLE teaches:

WILD FLOWERS

WILD FLOWERS

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23

“But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin.” – Galatians 3:22

“If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.” – First John 1:8

The Bible teaches that SIN is universal.

Not only the justice system is seemingly blind to sin, the Bible says that all unbelievers are blind to SIN.
