Judges 8:22-23

A.  “The Israelites said to Gideon,

‘Rule over us –

a.  you,

b.  your son and

c.  your grandson –

because you have saved us out of the hand of Midian.’

B.  But Gideon said to them,

‘I will not rule over you,

a.  nor will my son rule over you.

b.  The LORD will rule over you.'”
