“Our pick,” my pick.

Not long ago I picked up the SUMMER READING GUIDE in our town where you buy your home and office essentials like books, stationary and more.

The books are categorized and the first category is FANTASTIC NEW FICTION, followed by NZ BIOGRAPHY AND NON-FICTION, followed by WORLD BIO & NON-FICTION and so on. The last category is called PLENTY OF FOOD FOR THOUGHT. Needless to say that there are also GREAT GIFT IDEAS FOR CHRISTMAS.

There are books in the different categories which are marked with the “OUR PICK” sign.

The book I would pick for my Summer Reading and for my reading all year round I did not find in the Summer Reading Guide. That is THE BOOK OF BOOKS, the Bible.

All other books are written by men, but the author of the BIBLE is the Holy Spirit.

“A must read …”

On the cover page of the magazine I am looking at just now it says that the publication is not only “A must read” for Students, but also “A must read” for Parents and Teachers.

The magazine is New Zealand’s # 1 careers magazine for school leavers and the publication is called NEXT STEP.

Reading that made me think of a book which is not only “A must read” for certain people like Students, Teachers and Parents, but “A must read” for everyone.

That book is the Bible, THE BOOK OF BOOKS.
