ROCKS OF FAMILIES

Rocks of Families.

When the question was asked, “Who is the Kiwi you most admire?” the Rock of the family was mentioned. Reasons why that member of the family is called the rock of the family were also given.

The question, “Who is the Kiwi you most admire?” is one of the questions asked in the regular feature in one of our local newspapers, the NORTHERN NEWS, called “LOOK WHO’S TALKING?”

Other questions are: “What do you like best about the Far North?” “What do you like least and how can we fix it?” And there are more questions of course.

This morning I remembered the rock of our family. The rock is no longer with us. Maybe that’s why I remembered.

I guess many reasons could be given why he was the rock of the Family, but I believe that there is one main reason:

He could say with David, “The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer.” Psalm 18:2

ANNA (An Outline)

Luke 2:38

“She [Anna] came along just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked  about the child to everyone who had been waiting expectantly for God to rescue Jerusalem.”

Happy Finders.

How do we recognize a person who has found the Lord?

First of all:

ANNA GAVE PRAISE TO GOD.

Secondly:

ANNA SPOKE ABOUT THE CHILD  TO ALL WHO WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE REDEMPTION OF JERUSALEM.

Does our life also have the marks of a happy finder?
