“A place to call home,” is the column in our local paper called. (The Northland Age, Tuesday, August 16, 2016)
How thankful I am, that I have a place to call home on this EARTH; and I know that I should be even more thankful than I am already. It is so easy for all of us to take things for granted.
Homelessness is in the news at the present time. Homeless people are all over New Zealand I am reading in the column and it says there also that the crisis in homelessness is deepening. Whole families are living in one room and people are also living in cars.
But I am not only thankful that I have a place on this EARTH to call home, but I am even more thankful that I have an HEAVENLY home. The heavenly home is the final dwelling place of the SAINTS.
In the heavenly home is room for all believers. That’s why the Lord Jesus Christ says in John 14:2 “‘In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.'”
