Do we want to prevent a man from doing certain things which are wrong or do we want to make a man good?

That crime in our part of New Zealand seems to have gotten out of control is the news at the present time. The call is for more police to help to reduce the crime rates. Kaitaia, where I live in the north of New Zealand, is now known as the murder capital of New Zealand.

D M Lloyd-Jones says, “The police force can prevent a man from doing certain things which are wrong, but no police force can make a man good.”

The question is now, “Who can make a man good?”

God, in and through the Lord Jesus Christ and His great salvation can make a man positively good.
