REPENTANCE
REPENTANCE
What would you answer if someone asked you to define repentance?
The best answer so far I found in the book I DARED TO CALL HIM FATHER.
Here it is: “REPENTANCE, I DISCOVERED, WAS NOT TEARFUL REMORSE SO MUCH AS ADMITTING WHERE I HAD GONE WRONG AND AVOWING WITH HIS HELP NEVER TO MAKE THAT MISTAKE IN THE FUTURE.”
Afrikanisches Sprichwort
“WENN DU DENKST, DU BIST ZU KLEIN, UM ETWAS ZU BEWIRKEN, HAST DU NOCH NIE EINE NACHT MIT EINER STECHMUECKE VERBRACHT.”

Where are YOU?

Let me add that the trip from where I stayed in Auckland to the Island was free. (“Your gold AT HOP card”)
Short Visit to Whangamata

TWO GROUPS
In this quote Watchman Nee is talking about one sort of people. But if we are looking closer, we find here two groups:
“THEY SPEND MORE TIME IN ANALYSING, IN COLLECTING MATERIALS, AND IN HARD THINKING THAN ON PRAYER, ON SEEKING GOD’S MIND AND ON WAITING FOR THE POWER FROM ABOVE.” – Watchman NEE
ONE GROUP IS SPENDING MORE TIME IN:
- analysing,
- collecting materials,
- hard thinking.
THE OTHER GROUP IS SPENDING MORE TIME ON:
- prayer,
- seeking God’s mind
- waiting for the power from above.
Two questions: To which group do I belong? To which group do you belong?
