That Book extract should not even be on my bookshelf. It is not a proper book. Two staples are holding 24 pages together.

When I pierced my thumb today really painful with one of the staples it came to my mind to toss the extract.

I cannot remember for how long I have had those pages. If I remember correctly they were sent to me by a missionary in Chile in South America. And I believe for a reason.

It is the story of a servant of the Lord in Switzerland who has seen revival. That was some time ago.

In the extract it says that there is a reluctance today to print books like that. The book is in German and here is a quote from the book:

“EINE VON FINSTEREN MAECHTEN GEREINIGTE VERSAMMLUNG IST EINE GEISTLICHE GEBURTSSTAETTE FUER SUCHENDE MENSCHEN.”

(“A CONGREGATION THAT HAS BEEN CLEANSED FROM THE POWER OF DARKNESS IS A SPIRITUAL BIRTHPLACE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR THE TRUTH.”)

As you can see in spite of my bleeding thumb I felt led to read the 24 pages. And I read the pages with great interest and will not only read them again but will study the extract. I am glad I did not toss it.
