“LOOK FOR …”
“When it rains look for rainbows, when its dark look for stars.”
When I read that sign today here in Kaitaia on the main street in front of a shop the time when I was looking for the meaning to life came to my mind.
Two verses from the Bible I remember from that time many years ago, namely Jeremiah 29:13 and John 17:3.
“YOU WILL SEEK ME AND FIND ME WHEN YOU SEEK ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART.” – Jeremiah 29:13
“NOW THIS IS ETERNAL LIFE: THAT THEY MAY KNOW YOU, THE ONLY TRUE GOD, AND JESUS CHRIST, WHOM YOU HAVE SENT.” – John 17:3
Can I encourage you to look for, to seek the Lord Jesus Christ who lets it rain, who makes the rainbows appear in the sky, who lets it get dark in the evening and who lets the stars shine in the night?

“A DAY WITHOUT LAUGHTER IS A DAY WASTED.”
FOR ME A DAY WITHOUT PRAYER AND READING THE BIBLE IS A DAY WASTED.
“‘NO REGRETS'”
Billy Graham writes in his Devotional Treasury called UNTO THE HILLS:
“During the first decade of this century, Bill Borden left one of America’s greatest family fortunes to be a missionary in China. He only got as far as Egypt where, still in his twenties, he died of typhoid fever. Before his death he said, ‘No reserves, no retreats, no regrets.'”
