NO PLACE TO HIDE is the book called I found today on a special display rack at our local library. The book is written by Professor Flynn and is all about Climate Change.

There are two kinds of sceptics, No Place to Hide claims. First of all there are those who deny climate change. Secondly there are those who deny climate engineering.

The author argues that climate engineering is necessary. Why is it necessary? It is necessary to buy time to achieve carbon-free energy. And we must do this before it is too late.

I ask, “Is there really no :Place to Hide?”

Like many Bible believing Christians I love the Psalms. In the Psalms David tells us about the Hiding Place. Read the Psalm 17:18, 27:5 and Psalm 143:9. In Psalm 32:7 David says:

“YOU ARE MY HIDING PLACE; YOU WILL PROTECT ME FROM TROUBLE AND SURROUND ME WITH SONGS OF DELIVERANCE.”

There is a Hiding Place – for the true followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.

At the present time I am reading thoroughly Section three of the book called “Pluralism.”

Lately I have read several books by Francis A. Schaeffer and I find that KIDS ADRIFT is a continuation of the books by F. Schaeffer.

I have learnt that the twentieth Century was characterized by liberalism and that our time, the present time, is characterized by Philosophical Pluralism.

What impact does the victory of Philosophical Pluralism  have on New Zealand? First of all it may prove calamitous. Secondly it may prove pyrrhic.

Kids are adrift because they don’t have a foundation. The Bible says in First Corinthians 3:11:

“FOR NO ONE CAN LAY ANY FOUNDATION OTHER THAN THE ONE ALREADY LAID WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST.”

Not only children are adrift, but all those who do not have the Lord Jesus Christ as foundation are drifting aimlessly and without a purpose.

I am glad that I don’t belong to those people. I am looking forward to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Is it a cold or the flu?”

I am finding the question in a magazine I picked up at one of our local pharmacies.

I am learning also that the two illnesses can have very similar symptoms, but are caused by completely different viruses. A cold virus can affect the nose, the throat, sinuses, and the upper airways.

I am having a runny nose, a blocked nose, a sore throat, and I am sneezing, my head aches and I am tired.

Are these signs of the flu or the common cold?

I am reading also that the symptoms develop gradually and last for up to two weeks.

What is the diagnosis? “Have I got a cold or the flu?”

IT IS A COLD!

I am also told in the magazine that there is no cure for the common cold.
