“MY PEOPLE COME TO YOU, AS THEY USUALLY DO, AND SIT BEFORE YOU TO LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS, BUT THEY DO NOT PUT THEM INTO PRACTICE. WITH THEIR MOUTHS THEY EXPRESS DEVOTION, BUT THEIR HEARTS ARE GREEDY FOR UNJUST GAIN.” – Ezekiel 33:31

“THEN THEY WILL KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD.”
“Then they will know that I am the LORD,” I am finding again and again in the prophet Ezekiel. Just read the chapters 25-33.
In Ezekiel 28, in the verses 20-23, we read that the LORD is against the city of SIDON. They do not know that the LORD is LORD.
But they will know that the LORD is LORD, when He does certain things.
- Punishment is coming. – Verse 22
- The LORD will show them that he is holy. – Verse 22
- A Plague is coming. – Verse 23
- Blood is flowing on the street. – Verse 23
- The slain will fall in the city. – Verse 23
Ezekiel chapter 30 is “A lament for Egypt.”
The Egyptians will know that the LORD is LORD, when he puts his sword into the hand of the king of Babylon.
When will we know that the LORD is LORD?
When will we know that the LORD is LORD as individuals, as families, as a nation?
When will this generation know that the LORD is LORD?
