A red-letter day is “a memorably important or happy occasion.” according to The Collins Concise Dictionary.
Red-letter days came to my mind on Monday, July 10, 2017, when reading my Bible.
It is my habit to read the Bible from cover to cover and on Monday, July 10, 2017, I finished reading the Old Testament. I started at the beginning of this year with Genesis chapter one verse one and I am reading every word.
And here is a GOLDEN NUGGET from the last book of the Old Testament:
Malachi 3:18:
“AND YOU WILL AGAIN SEE THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE WICKED, BETWEEN THOSE WHO SERVE GOD AND THOSE WHO DO NOT.”
So, Monday, July 10, 2017, was a red-letter day for me, because getting so far with my reading of the Word of God, is not only a happy, but also an important occasion.
