OCTOBER 2017 marks an anniversary for the Protestants, the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the REFORMATION.

When Martin Luther grasped the  meaning of  “JUSTIFICATION”   he was really very much moved and the reformation began.

A day of prayer for the dead in purgatory is November 2 (All Souls’ Day) for the Roman Catholics. THAT WAS YESTERDAY!

For them SALVATION is something uncertain. It is something contingent.

Because of this uncertainty of Salvation they are dependent on the church and need the Church and the ministrations of the church throughout their life. And because of purgatory they need the church and her ministrations even after death.

They need other people to go on praying for them after death. They need other people to go on lighting candles for them. They need other people praying to the Saints to shorten their time in purgatory.

What is the meaning of the doctrine of JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH ALONE?

When we are justified we are safe to all eternity. Let us read what it says in John 10:28 and Romans 8:33,34.(Please find a Bible and read the two verses!)
