“Water is life,” is the sign you can see on the left side on the road when coming from Ahipara and entering Kaitaia. It has been there already for quite some time.
The Bible has a lot to say about WATER. The Bible tells us about WATER FOR DRINKING and LIVING WATER.
Water For Drinking:
In John chapter two we are reading about how the Lord Jesus Christ is changing water to wine and in verse seven we read, “Jesus said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water’, so they filled them to the brim.” Read also what is says in Mark 9:41.
Living Water:
We are reading about Living Water in Ezekiel 47 and Revelation 22. Living Water is coming from the house of God, time and season cannot affect it, and it satisfies all our needs. And who is the source of it? It is the Lord Jesus Christ. We are reading that in John 4:10. And what about the supply of the Water of Life? We cannot exhaust it. In Revelation 22:1 and Revelation 22:2 we are told that the Water of Life makes our life fruitful.
There is no doubt that you have partaken of the Water for Drinking, but have you partaken of the Water of Life?
The call to partake of the Water of Life is universal. Listen to what it says in Revelation 22:17:
“THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY, ‘COME!’ AND LET HIM WHO HEARS SAY, ‘COME!’ WHOEVER IS THIRSTY, LET HIM COME; AND WHOEVER WISHES, LET HIM TAKE THE FREEĀ GIFT OF WATER OF LIFE.”
