“Your words and deeds today .. can make a difference tomorrow,” is written on the posters.
You can see quite a number of the posters, when you enter the Kaitaia hospital at the present time. I did that yesterday and saw them. You will see them too.
“How do you want to be remembered?” is also written on the posters. How would you answer that question? And “Korero Awhi” it says at the very top of the advertisement.
In the Gospel of Mark, in the last chapter, the Lord Jesus Christ says:
“GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOOD NEWS TO ALL CREATION.”
You find that verse in Mark 16:15. When I “GO” (deeds) and when I “PREACH” (words) today, I can make a difference tomorrow.
But being obedient to “The Great Commission” is even more staggering: I can make not only a difference tomorrow, but I can make a difference in eternity. In Luke 15:10 it says, “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
“How do you want to be remembered?”
I went to Thailand as a missionary when I was young.
