WHAT IS WORKING?

WE ARE NOT FAR FROM THE BEACHES: And I love them.

“Instead, we should look soberly at what actually works to help criminals rehabilitate and re-enter society  better than they did prior to their interaction with the justice and corrections systems,” I am reading in the MAXIM INSTITUTE Column in our local paper. (The Northland Age, Tuesday, May 29, 2018)

Today, New Zealand has a record high prison population. Also within two years of release, more than 50 per cent of people who have completed a prison sentence in this country will reoffend.

What is the answer?

The GOSPEL works. In Romans 1:16 the Apostle Paul says:

“I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL, BECAUSE IT IS THE POWER OF GOD FOR SALVATION OF EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES: FIRST FOR THE JEW, THEN FOR THE GENTILE.”

The Gospel must be preached.

And I am glad that there are people who are going into the prisons to preach the GOOD NEWS!

WHAT ARE YOUR DREAMS?

In a Christian magazine two people are asked certain questions. And here are some of them:

What are your dreams, your wishes? What about your challenges? What gives you wings? Highlights in your life, your service?

A. WHAT ARE YOUR DREAMS, WISHES?

Here are the answers:

That people come to a Living Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, especially people I pray for. Leading people to the Lord Jesus Christ.

B. WHAT ABOUT YOUR CHALLENGES?

Here are the answers:

There are not many people who are willing to go into full time service for the Lord. Workers are needed almost everywhere.

C. WHAT GIVES YOU WINGS?

Here are the answers:

To experience, that the Lord is really at work. Seeing how the Lord is at work even when it is not all that obvious. When more workers are going into the Mission Field and are obedient to the GREAT COMMISSION.

D. HIGHLIGHTS IN YOUR LIFE, YOUR SERVICE?

Here are the answers:

Seeing how the Lord is working in my life.

I like the answers of the two people. What are your answers to the four questions?

Read the questions once more and tell me your answers, please.

Ask me, and I will tell you my answers.

Quote GERMAN

“Des Gerechten Gebet vermag viel, wenn es ernstlich ist (Jakobus 5,16).

Lassen wir das Licht dieses Wortes nach allen Seiten uns durchdringen, und fassen wir neue Zuversicht zu dem Gott, der Gebete erhoert.” – Dora Rappard
