Proverbs 14:15; Proverbs 22:3; 1 John 4:1
In Proverbs 14:15 and Proverbs 22:3 we are reading about simple people and prudent people.
A. SIMPLE PEOPLE: Proverbs 14:15 and Proverbs 22:3
This is what it says about simple people: It says about them that they believe everything. Simple people do not notice danger. They run straight into it and suffer.
B. PRUDENT PEOPLE Proverbs 14:15 and Proverbs 22:3
This is what it says about prudent people: It says about them that they are thinking about the steps they are taking. When prudent people see danger, they run for safety.
End: 1 John 4:1
We can ask ourselves now: Are we prudent or are we simple?
1 John 4:1 tells us about false prophets. We are told not to believe every spirit. We are told to test the spirits. The question is: Are they from God or are they not from God?
