“Staying in contact with your doctor just got easier. Do it online,” I am reading on the information leaflet, I picked up today at our local hospital. On the other side I find the benefits of the PATIENT PORTAL. Almost at the bottom of the flyer it says in small print that “fees may apply to certain services.”
I have two very old Bibles in German in my small library at home, one is translated by D. Martin Luther and the second by Hermann Menge. Looking up Exodus 15:26 in the Hermann Menge translation I find lots of physical ailments scribbled inĀ the margins of the two pages with different pens and even different colours. Even dates are included. In the Luther translation Exodus 15:26 is underlined and encircled.
Exodus 15:26 says, “‘… for I am the LORD, who heals you.'” In Germany it says there, “Denn ich, der HErr, bin dein Arzt (=der dich heilt).'” (Menge transation.) Arzt translated into english is doctor or General Practitioner.
And in order to stay in contact with the LORD, who heals, we don’t need computers (The Patient Portal). And of course, there is no fee involved. Can it get any easier?
