“What must I do that I may be saved?”
“What must I do that I may be saved?” I read on a small card that was lying on the footpath in Commerce Street here in Kaitaia today. I picked the smudged card up of course, and turning it to the other side I read, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved.” Acts 16 v 31 (Bible)
Bible and Gospel Trust, England, was written at the bottom of the second side including the full address.
I was encouraged when I read that. I was actually on my way home from church, and looking for a coffee shop to have a cup of coffee.
While waiting to be served at the counter of the shop, I got involved in a conversation with a man in front of me; a business man, I have known for quite some time. I told him also how I got hold of the card, showed it to him, and read also the question to him and the answer from the Bible.
His response was favorable.
Do you think the question, What must I do that I may be saved?” is in the mind of many people?
Tell me what you think!
