“Relocated to …”
“to move or be moved to a new place.” That’s how a dictionary defined the word ‘relocate’.
In John 14:2 the Lord Jesus Christ is comforting his desciples with the words, “In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I AM GOING TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU.”
If you are thinking about places and if you are a reader of the Bible those words of the Lord Jesus Christ are coming to your mind straight away. They are coming to my mind.
“The happiness of heaven is spoken of as in the father’s house,” says the Matthew Henry Concise Commentary on the whole Bible.
Heaven has many characteristics. Here are just two of them: In Psalm 20:6 it says that heaven is a holy place. In Revelation 21:4 we read, “There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
Heaven is a perfect place: We read that in Revelation 22:1-5. Heaven is a place of perfect government. Revelation 22:3. Heaven is a place of perfect communion. Revelation 22:4.
If we have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, we are going to be relocated to a place in heaven straight into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ when we die.
And it is not only a place, but it is a mansion.
