“Kids who read succeed”

“Kids who read succeed,” is written on the Taipa Area School noticeboard.

Let us remember that that is especially true when kids read the Bible. How do I know that?

Because it says in Joshua 1:8:

“Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

Quote

“Show me, then, a professed Christian who does not see and insist on the need for ongoing repentance, and I will show you a stunted soul for whom God is not as yet the Holy One in the full biblical sense.” – J. I. Packer

the God of Israel, says:

  1. I brought you up out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery

  3. I drove them from before you and gave them your land.
  4. I said to you, ‘I am the LORD your God; do not worship the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you live.’

But you have not listened to me.”
