Where are we looking for help, when it feels like the world is falling apart around us, when life throws us curve balls?

In a leaflet on parenting I picked up recently, I am reading it will help us to feel like we are not alone with our struggles, by putting our friends on speed dial.

The best friend of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord Jesus Christ and they talk to Him, they pray to Him, especially in moments of crisis. And they know that they can come to Him at any time.

The Lord Jesus Christ says in John 15:14:

“You are my friends if you do what I command.”

They also like to sing the hymn, which begins like this, “What a friend we have in Jesus,” by Joseph M. Scriven

About the best friend of the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ it says in the Bible, in Colossians 1:17:

“He is before all things and in him all things hold together.”

When it feels like the world is falling apart around them, followers of the Lord Jesus Christ pray to their best friend, who is holding all things together.
