A befriending service is advertised in the October/November 2019 Age Concern Kaitaia & District Incorporated newsletter.
The service is called the Age Concern Accredited Visiting Service (AVS). The aim of the service is to reduce social isolation.
We are told to contact the Age concern office, if we know anyone who would benefit from a regular visit. And people who have time for older people are encouraged to be volunteer visitors.

In John 15:14 we read:
“YOU ARE MY FRIENDS, IF YOU DO WHAT I COMMAND.”
“You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed – God is our witness.” – 1 Thessalonians 2:5
