The word paradise is only mentioned three times in the New Testament, namely in Luke 23:43, Second Corinthians 12:4 and Revelation 2:7.
But surprise, surprise! I have before me a number of sheets of paper from a Real Estate publication. Obviously they have been ripped out of the book. On three pages the word paradise is mentioned four times, twice on one page. It goes like this, “Garden of Paradise in Crane Road– Cottage in Paradise– A slice of Paradise.” And the last one is really good, “Paradise found.” Look at that! “Paradise found!”
Do landagents know, that we are looking for more than just a roof over our heads, that we are longing for more than a house? Is that why we are finding advertisements like this, “Port in a Storm?”
What do you think?
Adam and Eve lived in a garden called paradise, a perfect place of absolute beauty. The word paradise is of Persian origin and the meaning is “enclosure.”
In Luke 23:43, Second Corinthians 12:4 and Revelation 2:7 the word paradise means Heaven.
Thank God, there is a way home, there is a way to Heaven. Jesus is the way. John 14:6 That’s why He was able to say to the criminal crucified beside him, ” I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
Yes, “PARADISE FOUND.”
