When I read the word FOOTWEAR today,  Ephesians 6:15 came to my mind.

This is what The New Bible Commentary Revised says: “Feet equipped with shoes for marching (Lat. caliga) also recall Isaiah 52:7 as an OT allusion, and in the light of Romans 10:15 may suggest a promptitude of service in evangelistic endevour.”

Isaiah 52:7

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those

Intr.:

1.  who bring good news,

2.  who proclaim peace,

3.  who bring good tidings,

4. who proclaim salvation,

5.  who say to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!'”
