On the front cover of the latest Northland Biggest Property Guide current to August 25, 2010 I am reading:  “Experience A Different Style Of Living. See Inside Cover.” On the inside cover you find images and a description of the  “home of the week”. In bold letters under the big picture I read, “Site and home to behold……”

A different style of living? Are you longing for a different style of living? If you are, come to the Lord Jesus Christ. He is waiting for you. He says in Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

You can experience a different style of life with the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible, the Word of the Living God, has  lot to say about a different style of  life; our attitudes, our habits and our behaviour.

Ephesians 4:23 says that we are  “…; to be made new in the attitude of our minds;…” Philippians 2:5 “Your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus Christ:” Read also the verses 6-8 of the same chapter ( chaper two). First Peter 4:1;  Hebrews 4:12.

Read also what the Bible says about habits. We read about bad habits in First Timothy 5:13 and Hebrews 10:25. We are warned not to become idlers, gossips and busybodies. We are also warned not to give up meeting together.

Romans 13:13 admonishes us to behave decently. We are not to live in orgies, drunkenness, sexual immorality, debauchery, dissension and jealousy. First Peter 3:1 teaches about the behaviour of wives. Read also First Peter 3:16.

When we are experiencing a different style of living with the Lord Jesus Christ we are on our way to our eternal home in heaven  and that is a home to behold……”
