We stopped in Wangarei coming back from Auckland and I looked at a paper and there was something written about people committing suicide. At home now I opened a different paper and there is an article in the Northern News about ” Developing skills to help prevent suicide”.
It says that nearly 500 New Zealanders commit suicide each year. More than dying on the road each year.
Would like to go to the workshop, but the cost is $ 395 per person.
I remember reading the same 50 years ago in a paper in Germany. ( I mean comparing the people who commit suicide with those who die on the road.) It was said that people commit suicide because they have it too good. In German: Wohlstandsselbstmorde.
Let me know if you think differently concerning this matter.
