WHERE IS YOUR HOME?
“This world is not my home, I’m just a-passing through,..” is a hymn in the REDEMPTION HYMNS hymnal.
The word HEAVEN is mentioned in all three verses and twice in the chorus. ” And all three verses and the chorus ending with: “…. and I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.”
I hope you are now inspired to find the hymn somewhere and not only read it, but also sing it, if you can sing!
I don’t need to tell you about this world. You read the papers. You listen to the radio. You watch televison.
Let us remember that satan is the god of this world. Second Corinthians 4:4
Do you feel at home in this world? I don’t feel at home in this world anymore.
My home is heaven.
In a very old book written by H. L. Gee GOOD IN EVERYTHING I am reading:
“In the remote parts of the countryside old people still say of those who die, THEY HAVE GONE HOME.” –
Earl Baldwin
“In a quiet churchyard in Sussex is a simple grave which bears this lovely inscription: Gone home with a friend.” –
Rev. William J. May
I notice that it says “Gone home with a friend” and not Gone home to a friend.
