It is the “last day” before Christmas today in New Zealand and the tills are ringing all over the counry.

There is also the “last day” of every week and the “last day” of every month. Very soon there will be the “last day” of the year 2012.

And one of these days there will be the “last day” of my life, and there will be the “last day” of your life.

What then?That will then also be the “last day” before judgment. How do I know that? Because I believe with many others what the Bible says in Hebews 9:27, 28:

“JUST AS MAN IS DESTINED TO DIE ONCE, AND AFTER THAT TO FACE JUDGMENT, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”
