Two things, which have happened to me lately, have never happened before, and I believe that they are connected.

The first thing:

I was given $100 too much by mistake at one of our banks here. I returned the money of course. 

The second thing:

Each month the ASB bank is giving away twenty $1,000 cash prizes. 

In a letter we received from the bank not many days ago was written:

“The kind of letter you really want to get. Congratulations! You’re one of the  lucky winners from this month’s PrizeSaver draw. That means you’ve won a prize – just for saving. You’ve won $1,000.”  

Long ago I read this about a coincidence. “Coincidence: When God chooses to remain anonymous.”
