“Newsletter gelesen?” were the first words I saw written on the big, white envelope, when I pulled it out of our letterbox today. I really had to pull it, because it was stuck.
I think the meaning, (translation) of the two words is “Have you read the newsletter?” Please tell me, if I am wrong.
“Newsletter gelesen?”
What a good question.
I want to ask you also a question. “Have you read the Bible … today?” I have read Exodus chapter 39 today.
The above mentioned newsletter is the February/March 2014 letter for the graduates of Bibelschule Brake in Germany called “forum”.
In FORUM for the graduates you can find the letter from the director of the Bible College, something about staff members, news from the graduates and more.
In the February/March 2014 newsletter the book SIEBEN GRUENDE, WARUM ICH DER BIBEL VERTRAUEN KANN by Erwin Lutzer is advertised.
But in the Bible you find the words of God, because the author of the Bible is God the Holy Spirit. And unless you know the author, the Bible is like any other book for you. In Matthew 24:35 it says, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”
And yes, I have read the newsletter.
I cannot say that I read every word of the newsletter, but I can say that I have read the Bible from cover to cover, every word. And that not only once.
